My name is Eddie Keyser, and I’m a graphic designer and production artist living in the Nashville, Tennessee area.
I graduated from the University of Mississippi in 1985
witha bachelor’s degree in Music Theory and Composition.
I’m married to an incredible woman who is a kindergarten
teacher, and we have three awesome, grown, children and three beautiful granddaughters.
Performing music has been a big part of my life since I was about nine years old, singing and playing guitar for my mom’s women’s club. My first performance included songs in Russian and Bulgarian. I didn't speak either of those languages. Just imagine how much fun that was! I’ve also had many opportunities to sing in churches along the way, as well as some clubs and other places here in Nashville.
After working for several years as a typist for one of the largest, and oldest, check printers in North America, I decided to go back to school to study desktop publishing and to fulfill my dream of becoming a graphic artist. My newly acquired education allowed me the opportunity to do graphics for two service bureaus, an advertising agency and also the largest newspaper in the state of Tennessee.
I would soon have the opportunity to work with many other graphic artists and designers at a consumer goods company in Nashville called C.R. Gibson, where I was able to work for many years and also make a lot of great friends and colleagues along
the way. Also, I got the chance to work for Bohan Advertising in Nashville, before beginning the work I do now for Ingram Content Group, also in the Nashville area.
For the last four years or so, I’ve been back in school, on and off,
as time has allowed, working toward an Associate’s Degree in Graphic Design at Rasmussen University online.
My hope is to finish and earn this degree, then continue on toward a Bachelor’s Degree in the same field and start taking on
freelance design work at home.
